We are recruiting for a chartered Surveyor to work on a 3 months temporary contract on a social housing project.
Main duties will be to attend property inspections, proactively identifies recurring and persistent repairs problems, looking for solutions to address root causes and minimise costs, working in close collaboration with colleagues and Area Teams, and external partnering contractors
Carry out Land, property, and site visits. To undertake inspections, valuations, measurements of land, conduct negotiations, agree leases, tenancies, easements, investigate queries/complaints and respond.
Identifying, managing following up repairs and supporting the effective coordination of planned and cyclical maintenance. The area Surveyor has a key responsibility in ensuring that our customers receive a high-quality repairs service that delivers value for money and achieves high levels of customer satisfaction.
You will liaise and work with closely with stakeholders, such as contractors/developers, local authorities and consultants, with internal departments, and most importantly with prospective and current customers
The Area Surveyor works closely with other members of the Asset Team, Community Spaces Team and Neighbourhood Teams to maximise the performance of our assets while achieving high levels of customer satisfaction and neighbourhood sustainability.
