Purpose of job:
To operate and maintain laser cutting equipment to produce high-quality parts according to specifications.
Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain laser cutting equipment to produce high-quality parts according to specifications.
Set up machine parameters, to achieve optimal cutting results
Monitor the cutting process and adjust as necessary to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Perform routine maintenance tasks and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimise downtime
Inspect finished parts for quality defects and take corrective actions as needed
Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environmentSkills & attributes:
Prior experience operating laser cutting equipment, preferably with Trumpf lasers
Familiarity with CNC programming and machine controls
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Strong attention to detail and quality orientation
Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
