This is a newly created, permanent role for an experienced Head of Employee Relations Operations. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and developing a large Employee Relations team.

Offering flexible hybrid working, based in their Cardiff office for 2 days a week.

Description

As the Head of Employee Relations Operations & Case Management, you will build and develop the ER and Restructuring team.
The key focus of the role will be to manage the ER and Restructuring Team, that looks after c10,000 employees across the UK. You will:

Provide leadership, performance management, and guidance to the ER and restructuring team.
Ensuring that the ER team are seen as experts in disciplinary actions, terminations, and other performance-related matters, ensuring adherence to company policies and employment laws.
Establish key metrics to measure the effectiveness of the ER team and provide regular reports to HR Directors on trends and areas for improvement and focus.
Evolve and embed the company's approach to managing ER cases across the business, so that there is appropriate risk-based approach in place and that decisions are within risk appetite.
Collaborate with HR and management teams to ensure that ER cases are managed to ensure a consistent, fair process and promote employee's wellbeing.
Provide advice and guidance to HR and business leaders on all aspects of employee relations issues, so that they can effectively develop and apply suitable solutions to resolve business and employee issues.
Identify employee relations training needs and facilitate workshops or training sessions to ensure that the ER team has the necessary skills, knowledge, and behaviours to deliver the best service to the Group.Profile

As the Head of Employee Relations Operations, you should have:

Extensive prior experience in Head of Employee Relations roles within large and complex organisations.
Extensive experience in team and project management, to include building teams and restructuring within ER.
Autonomous with a pragmatic approach to sensitive matters.
A background within Employment Law would be highly advantageous.Job Offer
