SENCO

Are you an education expert? We are currently seeking to represent an experienced secondary school SENCO for an interim/temporary job based in Shrewsbury, West Midlands (SY2 5QS), West Midlands based school. We are looking for a qualified SENCO who would be available for a new secondary school job from June 2024.            

If you are an experienced SENCO, who has taught within a secondary school either available immediately or thinking of reaching out to discuss new, job opportunities in the West Midlands we would be keen to speak with you. This secondary school-based SENCO job is available on a full-time, temporary basis from mid-June. You may also have the opportunity to apply for the role more permanently from September 2024. We would welcome applications from highly experienced SEND specialists or qualified SENCOs and are happy to consider applications from either a primary, secondary or SEN setting background. An informal conversation with the Headteacher and a tour of the school can be arranged for interested parties. All applications will be confidential at this stage of the recruitment process. 

In order to be successfully shortlisted in any of your applications with us we will require the following:

A relevant teaching qualification.

NASENCO Qualification or substantial experience within a SENCO role 

All required documents for safer recruitment processing including, but not limited to a valid right to work proof and a valid Enhanced DBS.

Exceptional references.

Once shortlisted, a one-to-one interview will be scheduled with your dedicated consultant to discuss your experience and personal requirements as a first step in the process.

Proposed start date: June 2024 or September 2024

Salary: Day rate: £180 to £260 per day (Dependant on experience, negotiable)
