Field Applications Engineer – Automotive MCU
 
We are seeking experienced and talented candidates in Electrical Engineering or related fields to join us as Field Applications Engineers in our Detroit office. Our team works on the definition and development of the next generation of Renesas Automotive Products by providing outstanding application engineering support to our customers. As a Field Applications Engineer, the candidate will collaborate closely with other Field Applications Engineers and Application Engineers and play a pivotal role in advancing automotive technologies. This position offers the opportunity to engage in technical communication, customer interaction, and collaboration within a global team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead customer design-ins of Renesas Automotive microcontroller products for advanced automotive applications.
Provide expert hands-on support in resolving technical issues, ensuring optimal utilization of Renesas products by customers.
Conduct thorough reviews of electrical circuits and participate in embedded software debugging.
Collaborate with global engineering teams for product requirement analysis, technical reviews, benchmarking, and troubleshooting.
Apply and expand your knowledge and experience in automotive technologies, and the semiconductor industry in real-world applications.
