Company Overview
Our client specializes in providing bespoke Industrial Electrical Installations within the Clean and Waste Water Utilities Sector. Catering to individual client requirements regardless of project size. Due to ongoing growth, they are seeking a self-motivated and organized individual to join our MEICA Engineering Team based in the Southeast. This integral role offers substantial growth opportunities within our company.
Key Responsibilities
* Reporting: Directly to the Managing Director.
* Project Management: Oversee and take ownership of multiple projects, with values up to £1 million.
* Budget Control: Work with the Commercial Manager to ensure project budgets are controlled throughout delivery.
* Client Liaison: Regularly update clients to maintain and improve customer relationships.
* Programme Maintenance: Maintain project programmes.
* Team Oversight: Oversee Site Supervisors and Installation Teams.
* Quality Assurance: Ensure work quality is maintained to company standards.
Requirements
* Experience: Previous experience in a project management role for industrial projects is essential. Experience in the water sector is preferable, but other sectors will be considered.
* Qualifications: Electrical qualifications are required. HNC/HND/FdEng are preferable, but relevant experience will be considered.
* Regulatory Knowledge: Good understanding of CDM regulations.
* Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to stay level-headed in stressful situations, and strong IT literacy, particularly with Excel for commercial reporting.
* Software Proficiency: Experience with project management software such as MS Project, ASTA, P6, or similar.
* Driving License: Full, clean driving license.
* Technical Knowledge: Ability to read and understand electrical drawings.
Preferred Additional Qualifications and Experience
* Certifications: Thames Water Passport, Inspection & Testing, Medium Risk Confined Space Training.
* Sector Experience: Strong experience within the Water Utilities Sector.
