Salary: £50,000 per annum
Home: 2-3 bed EBD
Location: Leyland

Qualifications and Experience:

* Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent

* NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People or equivalent

* Diploma 5 in Leadership & Management Children & Young People (or willing to work towards)

* Considerable management experience working with young people in a residential setting

* Proven management experience at a senior level

* Budget management skills and experience

* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee all staff and operations within the home, ensuring adherence to policies and regulations

* Manage labour costs, staffing structures, and rotas to meet children's needs and budget requirements

* Develop and implement intervention strategies for behaviour management

* Ensure effective delivery of individual care plans and high standards of care

* Promote an open culture where children feel heard and supported

* Maintain records and ensure compliance with confidentiality regulations

* Support staff development and provide supervision as needed

* Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies

* Safeguard the health and well-being of children and promote anti-discriminatory practice

Other Requirements:

* Flexibility to occasionally work outside normal office hours and be on call

* Full driving license and willingness to provide cover to other homes when needed
