We're on the lookout for Parks Maintenance Operatives to join our well-established client based in Oxford for the Summer period
About the role:
The Parks Service requires summer temps to help with grass cutting and watering of the trees add assisting with litter picking in peak periods, so we are looking for someone who isn't afraid to get stuck-in!
The business is based out of Cutteslowe Park
About You:
You will need to hold a full UK driving licence, previous grounds / parks maintenance experience is desired but not essential
The details:
Candidates are required for the following areas:
To work with the grounds maintenance verges teams - carry out litter picking, mowing the grass on the verges, emptying bins
To work with the cemeteries team – mowing all the 4 cemeteries on a 10 day rota
To work with the tree team - Throughout April – September over 150 trees need watering on a weekly basis, in September trees are mulched and any dead trees are removed
Working Hours:
Between 7:30am to 16:30 Monday to Friday (please note times may vary to earlier starts or later finishes as required)
Salary £13.75 per hour
