Salary: £35 per hour

Rotherham Council is seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join our Duty and Assessment Team. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to play a pivotal role in safeguarding and supporting children and families in Rotherham.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertaking initial assessments and investigations of child protection concerns.
Making decisions on the most appropriate course of action to ensure children's safety and well-being.
Collaborating with families, professionals, and partner agencies to develop and implement care plans.
Participating in case conferences, reviews, and court proceedings as required.Requirements:

Qualified Social Worker with substantial experience in children's services.
Registered with Social Work England (or eligible for registration).
Thorough knowledge of child protection procedures, legislation, and best practices.
Strong assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.Benefits:
