About the Role:
GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Maths Teacher to join a school in Sheffield, starting in September 2024. This role is ideal for a teacher who is committed to delivering high-quality education and fostering a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons in line with the British education curriculum.
Plan and prepare lessons, ensuring they cater to the varying abilities of students.
Assess, track, and report on students' progress.
Manage classroom behaviour to maintain a safe and productive learning environment.
Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the school's academic and extracurricular programmes.
Requirements:
Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Have a strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum and a proven track record of delivering excellent teaching.
Be passionate about teaching and committed to student achievement and progress.
Possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
