GSL Education is currently seeking to appoint an English Teacher to undertake a position at one of our client schools in Barnsley.
Job Summary
English teachers design and administer assessments to evaluate student progress and provide feedback to guide improvement.
English teachers engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with educational best practices and advancements in language teaching.
Role of an English Teacher:
Plan and deliver engaging English lessons that inspire and challenge students
You will plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Students
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the English curriculum
Participate in school-wide activities and events
The successful candidate will:
Qualified Teacher Status certificate or evidence of completion of a recognized teacher training program.
Possesses a degree in English or relevant subject
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual learners
Willingness to contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and initiatives
