We are seeking a motivated and skilled Production Assistant Manager to join their dynamic team and support the production operations.
Responsibilities:
Support the Production Manager in overseeing and coordinating daily production activities to ensure efficient and timely manufacturing processes.
Supervise and guide production staff to maintain high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.
Monitor production workflows and implement solutions to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
Collaborate with Quality Control, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth and continuous operations.
Maintain accurate production records, prepare reports, and communicate findings to senior management.
Assist in the training and development of production personnel to enhance their skills and performance.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental policies, and company standards.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes and reduce waste.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a plywood production or manufacturing environment.
Skills in wood machinery, cnc machines and edgebanding preffered.
Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail..
Proficient in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
