Mechanical Design Engineer

Our Grantham based client is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to develop customer products for the auto industry.
Duties include;
* Creation of design and assembly drawings.
* Produce BDM for special products and procurement.
* Assist clients and engineers with telephone support.
* Update technical documents and manuals when needed.
* Liaise with planning team to ensure timely project fulfilment.
The successful Design Engineer must be proficient in the use of Autodesk/ Inventor/SolidWorks and intermediate Word and Excel skills. Min HND or equivalent or two years plus a sound mechanical background and fabricated assembly and sheet metalwork. Hydraulic and Electrical knowledge would be helpful but is not essential.
