Automation Test Engineer | National Security Consultancy | High Level Security Clearance Required | Salary up to £80,000 + £5,000 bonus | Manchester | Hybrid 2-3 days per week on-site

Yolk Recruitment are working with a Manchester based National Security Consultancy looking for automation test engineers to work closely with their customer in central Manchester.

If successful you will join an experienced Agile development team building mission critical software applications for a UK national security customer. You will be responsible for ensuring web & server applications are robust & reliable. You will build & maintain automation test frameworks using a variety of technologies. To be successful you will need experience in at least 1 test framework such as Cypress, Selenium etc as well as exposure to programming in Java, Python, JavaScript or a similar language.

They're based in Manchester & operate a hybrid working environment with 2-3 days on-site per week. The role requires active high level security clearance.

Responsibilities:

You will work in multiple environments as part of a collaborative and multi-functional team.
Deliver Test capability, automated solutions, to support mission critical solutions.
Define and execute test activities either independently or within a team.
Identify Testing solutions, specifically automated solutions, to reduce software time-to-market.
Translate business and technical requirements into comprehensive testable scenarios.

Skills Required:

Experience in at least one automation framework: Selenium, Cypress or similar.
Coding experience in at least one of Java, Python, JavaScript or similar.
Experience working in an Agile development environment.
Active high level security clearance.
