Job Role

Working within a small team of Wholesale Advisors to strategically approach and convert opportunities for wholesale supply.

Main Responsibilities:

Manage Quotes and Orders:

Handle quotes from the initial contact to the point of taking an order.

Oversee the sales process from order placement to customer delivery.

Customer Account Management:

Set up new customer accounts, promoting direct debit payments.

Manage new customer accounts for an initial three-to-six-month period, ensuring efficient integration into the company database.

Market and Competitor Analysis:

Develop knowledge of the market, competitors, and suppliers to identify future wholesale sales strategies.

Generate and implement ideas for wholesale opportunities outside of the existing customer base.

Sales Focus:

Target new business on high profit margin products.

Proactively contact existing customers to sell consumables on a pre-planned, professional, and efficiently managed schedule.

Prospect new business through cold calling from the CRM database.

Generate leads and sales from referrals, non-competitive suppliers, networking, etc.

Customer Relations:

Conduct consultative sales with existing customers to ensure the current supply meets their needs.

Identify and act on opportunities to upsell additional revenue streams.

Retain customers considering terminating their wholesale agreement.

Solve customer issues, ensuring flexibility to react to problem sites within 24 hours.

Maintain accurate records of customer contact details.

Person Specification & Qualifications:

Preferred previous experience in B2B Customer Management.
Sales-driven with effective telephone communication skills.
Excellent commercial understanding.
IT literate with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated with good analytical abilities.
Ability to develop positive working relationships with all external and internal stakeholders.
