Assistant Quantity Surveyor

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team based in Essex.
The Role:
* Commercial assistance on several live projects or projects at the pre-construction phase
* Covering a wide selection of areas including semi-commercial, Heritage, Performing Arts, Leisure, and Public/Private Sector.
* Post-tender internal and external pricing analysis/assessment
* Assistance in the management of subcontract accounts
* Develop an understanding of all designated contracts, specifications and pricing ensuring compliance with conditions throughout the contracts
* Site visits and measurement of subcontract accounts
Key Skills:
* Possession of HNC or above in Quantity Surveying or a similar discipline
* Strong commercial acumen
* Being willing to understand instruction and learn from the experience of others • Excellent level of numeracy and verbal communication skills
* IT skills in MS Excel and Word Salary & Benefits
