We are currently partnering with a local employer who has an enviable reputation for design with the added benefit of manufacturing onsite. Our client offers a high-quality product and has a worldwide reputation for excellence. They work on projects all around the UK and have exported to over 140 countries throughout the company’s history. Our client, an engineering and manufacturing expert is now expanding and is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their established team.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will support the busy drawing office and project teams

Key Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor

To support a very busy Project Management function.
You will provide cost data for all elements of a Project. Evaluating time, labour costs, and expenditure across all project disciplines
Facilitate effective decision-making and contribute to the overall success of the Project.
Analyse Cost V’s budget data from the ERP system
Reporting and communicating the results of the report details to Project Managers
Problem-solve and create action plans with the Project Managers as required.
Advise on contractual issues to help ensure projects meet legal and quality standards.Experience as Quantity Surveyor

Must be a great, communicator who has clear written and verbal skills.
AssocRICS or MRICS desirable
Great problem solver, and solutions provider
Tenacious and driven.
Strong IT Skills
Some knowledge of construction
