An Inventory Manager with SAGE 200 experience, or WMS experience is required to take over the reins of the warehouse, repack and distribution elements of a growing company in Huddersfield HD8 area .

This is a permanent that requires the ability to manage stock, create production plans and manage the well-established team to achieve best performance, compliance and process improvement.

Duties will include:

* Controlling production and warehouse systems and processes

* Ensuring safety, delivery and quality of the warehouse and production areas

* Supporting and developing the team to support their career aspirations and ability’.

* Creating effective schedules for production, team working hours and quality checks

* Developing process and capabilities for future growth, to increase productivity, reduce waste through analysis, training and tested plans.

* Quality control through the quality leader and controlled procedures

* Manage inventory levels to ensure an adequate supply of materials for production while minimising excess stock lines.

* Provide automated reports and to the stakeholders and identify issues through analysis, creating solutions with the various teams.

* Provide positive and motivational leadership, guidance, and development for the warehouse and production teams support to production team.

You will have :

* Experience in production management or stock and inventory management.

* Exccllent IT skills with either WMS or SAGE 200, or AS400.

* Production planning experience and demonstrated ability to manage production schedules effectively.

* Good data management skills, including the ability to analyse and interpret production data and KPIs

* A driving licence is required due to other storage and supplier premises.
