F+B Assistant

URGENT – F+B Assistant – £24k per annum – Luxury Hotel – Kingsbridge Area

Our client is looking for recruit an experienced Food + Beverage Assistant to assist in delivering a great customer experience to all guests. Located in South Devon, in the Kingsbridge area, its a fantastic opportunity to be part of a highly regarded establishment, an award winning establishment.

Our client is highly regarded in the area, with an importance of the customer service and reception for their clientele.

The successful candidates will have a vast amount of experience in a Hotel setting, with a focus on customer service.

Responsibilities to include:

* Check guests’ identification as appropriate to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages.

* To ensure that the manager is informed of requirements for food stock, equipment, and chemicals as appropriate & with sufficient notice to ensure deliveries arrive before stock levels run out.

* Check all menu items are available at the start of your shift and advise guests of unavailable items, when menus are presented.

* To prepare all areas of the business for lunch and dinner service ensuring quality and cleanliness standards are adhered to.

* Ensure menus are printed and ready for service.

* To understand and be able to advise guests on matters of allergens and intolerances, ensuring guest satisfaction.

* Ensure the guests receive efficient, friendly service.

* Perform any cashing up duties ensuring that all cash activities, credit card/room charges and vouchers balance reporting any discrepancies.
