The Opportunity  
 
This position will give you the opportunity to be a Managing Quantity Surveyor reporting directly to Commercial Director for the social housing (new build) divison of a established North West national contractor, with several profitable business streams  The role will allow you full commercial control for your team across multiple projects.
 
You will have responsibility to inspire, manage and support a team of QS staff giving input into their development and guiding them to deliver their projects in budget and on time.  
 
You will need to take contractual control to set up the projects dealing with any claims or EOTs if needed.
 
The role requires an experienced professional who can demonstrate leadership in their role previously be that as a Managing QS / Commercial Manager or Senior QS who is ready to step up to the next role.
You will need a with a general contracting social housing background to be considered not a homes background. 
 
We have benched mark the salary at £75,000 but are will to receive applications above this if you feel you can justify it. This is a new role to the business so if you can feel you can add more then they are interested to hear more.
