Job Title: Head Of Marketing, Business Development + Customer Experience - Tourism Attraction 
Salary: £50,000-£60,000 per annum

Location: Knowsley, Merseyside (40 hours per week)
I am looking for a marketing expert with a commercial edge who can elevate marketing strategies and sales performance. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional visitor experiences and driving revenue growth, please apply. 

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Head of Marketing, Business Development + Customer Experience to lead our marketing initiatives and drive commercial success.
Also ideally will have a marketing background with a strong commercial mindset, focusing on creating and implementing strategies to enhance visitor numbers and revenue. This role is crucial in shaping their brand, ensuring a seamless guest experience, and driving both marketing and sales efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
Marketing:

Lead a team comprising a Marketing Manager, Digital Marketing Executive, and Graphic Designer, and collaborate with a Marketing Manager at another location.

Work closely with the GM and CEO to develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive visitor numbers.

Collaborate with the marketing team and external agencies to translate strategies into effective marketing plans and campaigns.

Focus on enhancing ticket sales through reactive marketing strategies, adjusting campaigns based on performance metrics.

Develop and grow new audiences and groups.

Evaluate and monitor all marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies to optimize results.

Conduct regular competitor analysis and market trend research.

Oversee digital channels and third-party website listings, ensuring accuracy and quality.

Manage the CRM strategy, ensuring segmentation, GDPR compliance, and database growth.

Sales:

Develop and implement a sales strategy to grow membership, maximize secondary spend, and increase income from added-value experiences.

Create a dynamic pricing strategy to maximize revenue while ensuring value for money.

Explore and capitalize on sales opportunities and partnerships.

Share best practices and explore collaborative opportunities with Knowsley Hall's marketing team.

Focus on enhancing the customer journey from arrival to exit, including pre- and post-visit marketing to encourage repeat visits.

Brand:

Develop and maintain the Safari Park brand, ensuring alignment with the vision and brand proposition.

Ensure adherence to brand guidelines by colleagues and external partners.

Lead the creation and maintenance of an employee brand.

Develop and deliver a proactive PR program to enhance reputation, brand awareness, and audience growth.

Manage crisis communications to protect the brand’s reputation.

Management:

Lead and develop the marketing & sales team, ensuring resources align with strategic objectives.

Maintain relationships with external marketing agencies to ensure best value and results.

Requirements:

Proven track record in delivering sales and marketing outcomes.

Extensive experience in developing and executing integrated marketing and sales strategies that drive revenue.

Proficiency in planning media strategies across ATL channels (e.g., TV, Radio, OOH).

Strong senior management experience with team leadership capabilities.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Expertise in CRM development and cross-sales strategies.

Experience in conducting research programs to provide meaningful insights.

Ability to develop and manage marketing budgets.

Proactive team player with the ability to manage, drive, and develop a highly motivated team.

Commercially minded with a focus on enhancing the customer journey and sales performance.
