A Legal 500 law firm based in London is looking for a Commercial Property Paralegal to join their collaborative and inclusive team.
The Commercial Property Paralegal is expected to have an enthusiastic, professional attitude and work well under pressure. You would be encouraged and supported to progress and develop your career within the firm.
The Commercial Property Paralegal will:
Perform legal and factual research – researching the most valid arguments, reviewing case facts, identifying the relevant laws and ensuring all other relevant information is considered in a case.
Summarise legal documents.
Prepare and file land registry application forms and SDLT applications.
Organise, analyse, cross-check and validate the information.
Prepare written reports.
Help prepare legal arguments, applications, declarations and motions.
Prepare correspondence and proofread legal documents.
Check legal forms and documents for accuracy.
Maintained and organised case and reference files.
Review and monitor new and updated regulations.
Deal with post-completion matters such as the creation of completion bibles.
Assist in researching and drafting articles and business development materials for current affairs in relation to the Real Estate sector.
As Commercial Property Paralegal you will have:
Degree educated, or equivalent
Previous Paralegal experience desired but not essential.
A spirit of co-operation, team player and a positive ‘can-do' attitude
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills are essential, including good spelling and grammar.
Excellent organisational skills, ability to use initiative, and work well under pressure including the ability to prioritise, multi-task and work to tight deadlines.
Strong communication skills with the ability to relate and talk to people at all levels.
