Role: Maintenance Manager

Salary: £55,000- £60,000 salary

Location:  Birmingham – Lichfield

Shift pattern: Mon – Fridays 37.5 hours (FLEXIBLE)

Holliday Allowance:  33 days per annum

I have a incredible opportunity available for a Maintenance Manager position at a leading business in its industry. The role will be at a FMCG site expanding year over year. Our client is a multi-billion-dollar company who work with some of the UK’s well-known retailers. The client is looking for a motivated and ambitious individual who has previous experience in leading teams or has valuable experience and is willing to take the next step!

The ideal candidate will have friendly, positive and team player qualities which they will be able to utilise leading engineers to maintain production.

The Role:
The role for the Maintenance Manager will include carrying out daily task including:
Support the sites H&S agenda to ensure all engineers are compliant against all relevant health and safety legislation.
Support Engineering Manager with the creation of department procedures.
Audit the department for compliance to all company policies and procedures.
Manage and develop the maintenance team engaging in recruitment, performance management and succession planning.
Ensure performance issues with both equipment and team are dealt with swiftly and in the correct manner.
Work with Engineering Manager to set KPIs relating to maintenance. If required, set actions to bring performance in line with targets.

The Person:
To be considered for this role you must have the following:
Level 3 Engineering Qualifications
Manufacturing Industry Experience
