Water Hygiene Engineer

Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer.
Location: Wakefield, South Yorkshire.
Salary / Benefits £24k - £35k + Training + Benefits

A long-standing Water Hygiene / legionella company with a strong presence in Yorkshire is now looking to take on a knowledgeable and diligent Water Hygiene Engineer. Travelling across the Yorkshire region, you will be carrying out various L8 management services including water sampling, TMV servicing, calorifier flushing, and temperature monitoring, ensuring all work complies with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines. Successful candidate will have good access to West / South Yorkshire and the surrounding areas: Bradford, Keighley, Huddersfield, Castleford, Pontefract, Castleford, Barnsley, Leeds, Rotherham, Sheffield, Worksop, Chesterfield.

Experience & Qualifications:
" Hands on experience working for a water hygiene company, working as an engineer.
" In-depth knowledge of HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
" Excellent communication skills, able to work well independently and as a team.
" IT literate.
The Role:
" Water sampling, and temperature monitoring.
" TMV servicing and failsafe testing.
" CWST cleans and disinfections.
" Cooling tower cleans and disinfections.
" Calorifier flushing.
" Showerhead cleans and descales.
" Flushing of little used outlets.
" Accurately updating onsite logbooks upon completion work.
" Working in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
