Position: Administrative Assistant
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and supporting our school's mission. The Administrative Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our school by providing administrative support to the school's leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general administrative duties such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing correspondence
- Maintain and update student records and files
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings and events
- Manage school calendars and schedules
- Prepare and distribute school communication materials
- Assist with budget tracking and expense management
- Collaborate with the leadership team to support school operations and initiatives
- Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed
- Assist with student enrollment and registration processes
- Provide support to teachers and staff as needed
- Ensure compliance with school policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in an educational setting
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Passion for working with children and supporting their growth and development
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy
