My client based in central Liverpool are committed to doing what is right and making a positive difference. What started off as a small group of Solicitors in Liverpool is now a group of over 200 members of staff spread across Liverpool, Heswall & Hoylake.
What’s needed.
Due to continuous growth in the Group my client is currently recruiting for an experienced Civil Liberties Lawyer to be based in the Liverpool Office (applications from other geographical locations welcomed due to hybrid working). The purpose of this position is to provide first rate legal services to our clients according to their specific needs, ensuring full compliance with policies and procedures laid out by the group and by regulatory bodies.
What do you need?
* 4+ years PQE (or equivalent experience)
* Experience of Inquests / Actions Against the Police and Legal Aid funding
* Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
* Ability to build long-lasting relationships with Clients.
Key Accountabilities
* Independently managing a caseload of work
* Being accountable for billing targets
* Supporting and developing lawyers in the team
* Ensuring compliance with Lexcel and regulatory requirements
