Alexander Steele has partnered with a leading apparel business that has an exciting opportunity for a Head of Commercial Delivery to manage new product development and innovation projects from concept to launch.

You will oversee the collaboration among the Supply Chain, Commercial Sales Team, and Operations functions; ensuring that timelines for new sales opportunities, existing customer RFQ’s and roll outs are met.

Key responsibilities include:

* Play a pivotal role in project managing the supply chain departments, in conjunction with the commercial sales team to ensure that roll outs are achieved as to business requirements.

* Identify commercial requirements and engage any required departments to support the completion of the final objective.

* Ensure that projects are delivered end to end on time from brief, pricing and quality, ordering, shipping, and availability to sell.

* Ensure that appropriate levels of resources and capability are available to deliver to the plan.

* Influence and encourage team members to embrace and contribute to change.

Candidate requirements:

* Tertiary qualification in Business Management, Supply Chain, Procurement or equivalent

* At least 5 years’ Supply Chain, Innovation, Product Development, Buying, Product or Sales Management experience within an apparel/clothing environment.

* Innovation and Product Development project management experience.

* Experience sourcing and buying products from the Far East

* Good communication skills and the ability to present ideas to a broad range of stakeholders.

Salary will be circa £70K to £80K + Bonus.

25 holidays + 8 bank holidays

The role will be based in the Leicestershire area.
