This position works on CET(Central European Time)

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Guide Agile teams to establish predictable performance and optimize their velocity.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies for cross functional team(s) in a dynamic development environment.
  • Radiate information on team performance and progress utilizing key Agile metrics.
  • Guide teams through formation and support the formation of a team that practices Arcadis values and technology norms.
  • Work with the Product Owner to align team with the product vision and sprint goals and participate in product backlog preparation activities.
  • Create an environment of collaboration within the team that allows for open dialogue and productive solutions for resolving conflicts.
  • Mitigate risks and communicate to leaders using best practices in Agile.
  • Clear impediments for the team and escalate organizational impediments to leadership as appropriate.
  • Instill continuous improvement activities to reduce waste and increase productivity; coach teams to conduct continuous improvement events.
  • Embrace and demonstrate the concept of continuous learning; instilling the same in your team(s)
  • Engage in establishing and championing Agile best practices and creating communities of practice across the organization.
  • Leverage skills from coaching, facilitation, conflict resolution, and more to guide teams to embrace an Agile mindset.
  • Perform training sessions, targeted workshops, and coach teams on established agile processes.

Key Skills:

  • In depth understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban and adherence to core Agile values and principles gained through working on an Agile team/and as a Scrum Master.
  • Experience with Agile Lifecycle Management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Version One, etc.
  • Familiar with System Development Life Cycle, CI/CD, and DevOps concepts
  • Exposure to modern engineering practices like Unit Test-Driven Development, Acceptance Test-Driven Development, and CICD
  • Sound understanding of Scaling frameworks and scaling principles gained through hands on experience.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Agile teams that implement SaaS highly available, scalable, secure, and multi-tenant applications.
  • 10+ years of experience working in an IT role.
  • 6+ yearsâ experience in an Agile environment
  • 5+ yearsâ experience in a Scrum Master role
  • BS in Computer Science or related engineering degree from a four-year accredited college/university or equivalent
  • CSM, PSM Certification preferred
