Requirements:

- Completed apprenticeship as a specialist in information technology or a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of network infrastructure, especially on Cisco basis
- Good knowledge in switching, routing, and firewall systems, particularly in Palo Alto
- Extensive knowledge of network-related services (DNS, DHCP)
- Experience in monitoring network infrastructure
- Initial experience in troubleshooting hardware systems
- Communication and team skills, customer orientation, structured and solution-oriented way of working, and self-organization
Responsibilities:
Installation and administration of network components Cisco, Brocade, InfoBlox
- Active control, monitoring, and installation of firewall systems (PaloAlto)
- Support, monitoring, and optimization of network-related services (DNS, DHCP), L7 firewall concept, and the Cisco ACI environment
- Monitoring and troubleshooting of hardware systems
- Development of automation involving SDN, micro-segmentation, VM-Ware
- Analyzing and improving operational processes within the infrastructure
