Job Summary

We have opportunities for experienced Maintenance Engineers to join our dedicated engineering team here at Florette in Lichfield. Our engineers play a vital role in our business, maintaining a range of specialist machinery and equipment throughout our factory site so that we can supply the nation with our award winning salads! Working in teams of three on a mixture of planned and reactive maintenance, you will perform cyclical equipment maintenance, troubleshoot issues and make on-site repairs when needed. Experience of refrigeration, chlorine or compressed air would be a distinct advantage, along with an understanding of food safety.

We're really excited about what's in store for our Engineering department this year. We're midway through implementing plans to develop/replace some of the equipment on our site. These roles offer an opportunity for proactive and innovative individuals to drive forward technological advancements and make a significant contribution to the future of engineering projects within our organisation.

Working pattern: 12 hour shifts | Rotating days & nights | 7am-7pm & 7pm-7am

Main Responsibilities

* Day to day upkeep of Production Equipment.

* Reacting to breakdowns quickly in order to reduce downtime.

* Equipment repair.

* Preventative Maintenance.

* Factory start up and testing.

* Technical repairing.

* The accurate and timely completion of necessary documentation.

Skills and Experience Required

* A recognised engineering qualification.

* Awareness and understanding of statutory requirements and legislation

* Experience of repairing and maintaining machinery and equipment in a controlled environment

* Strong diagnostic, fault finding capability

* Excellent attention for detail
