Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and resourceful Project Support Officer to join our dynamic international team. As part of the Project Management Office (PMO) based in our main office in Amsterdam, you will play a crucial role in supporting project managers and their teams in successfully delivering individual projects worldwide. The Hilco PMO is focused on providing guidance, best practices, templates, and tools to ensure consistency and efficiency in project management practices across the organization.

Responsibilities:

Project Support: Provide support to project managers and their teams, assisting in the successful delivery of projects from initiation to closure.

PMO Coordination: Collaborate with the Hilco team to implement project management standards, guidelines, and governance structures.

Onsite Activities Management: Oversee and coordinate main activities conducted onsite, including making inventories of acquired machinery, overseeing the dismantling of sold assets, and managing the removal of unsold assets while ensuring compliance with project management standards.

Communication and Collaboration: Serve as a key liaison between onsite teams, project managers, clients, stakeholders, and the Hilco marketing, sales and finance departments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization of onsite operations, contributing to the development of best practices within the organization.

Quality Assurance: Monitor onsite activities to ensure compliance with quality standards, client specifications, and project requirements.

Documentation Management: Maintain accurate project documentation, including inventory records, asset condition reports, and H&S compliance documentation.

Requirements:

4-6 years of business experience.

Experience in (project) coordination or support role, preferably within a Project Management Office (PMO) environment.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

Proficiency in Excel, online tools and software applications (Salesforce). An understanding of data structures and basic knowledge of HTML would be a nice to have.

Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.

Willingness to travel occasionally to visit projects.

Knowledge of Health and Safety standards and regulations, with experience implementing H&S protocols in industrial settings would be a nice to have.

Compensation:

Salary approx. Eur per month, based on 40hrs/week, depending on relevant experience.
