A leading supplier of semiconductor systems and equipment for research and scientific applications now requires a Field Engineer to support customers throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Working from home, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, repair and maintenance of their Plasma Technology equipment.
This will include organising visits and the travel for routine servicing and emergency breakdown assistance at customer sites.
In addition, you will provide customer training to ensure safe operation and maintenance of the equipment.
You will be involved in all aspects of a Field Service Engineering role, working with customers throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa. Therefore, living within close proximity to an airport would be advantageous.
The role requires regular travel to customer sites worldwide, and therefore requires a candidate who can commit to regular stays away from home.
To succeed in this role, you will have completed an apprenticeship or hold a HNC/HNC in Engineering.
As the successful candidate you will a proven background in similar Field role.
You should be familiar with electrical, electronic and mechanical servicing.
With requirements for regular customer visits you must be flexible and willing to travel globally as and when required.
Candidates must be eligible to work and live in the UK / Europe and hold a full driving licence. Copies of Passports / Visas will be requested for verification
