Commercial Manager - North-West based
£55,000 - £65,000 (negotiable) + Car/Car Allowance and Benefits
Overview
A North-West based Building Services company, that specialises in the mechanical and electrical sector, is looking for a Commercial Manager to join their M&E team working on commercial projects across both new and existing customers.
The commercial team specialise in:
Contractual compliance of all projects
The management of costs and project financial forecasting
Maintaining strong client partnerships.
The Commercial Manager will join a growing team and be responsible for a variety of duties including:
Monitoring the project pipeline, and working with existing managers on the commercial process
Producing monthly cost reports for planned and current projects
Working with wider team to ensure projects are completed to time/cost, ensuring profitability.
Preparing budgets alongside the senior management team.
Ensuring all projects adhere to contractual obligations
This role will work with a number of professionals including; Directors within the business, plant hire and specialists, sub-contractors, consultants, clients and representatives.
Skills and Experience
Ideally the Commercial Manager will have 5+ years working experience in a similar role and:
Be well versed in all forms of contracts (JCT/NEC)
Have negotiation experience
Sound Mechanical and Electrical knowledge
A degree in quantity surveying (however a strong history in the sector will also be considered)Remuneration
The successful Commercial Manager will be offered a competitive starting salary of between £55,000 and £65,000, a car or car allowance and a full range of benefits including healthcare bonus and pension.
