are seeking an
Internal Salesperson

for a highly successful independent 
supplier of construction products based in Cambridgeshire.

Salary:

Up to £28,000 per annum + Quarterly bonus

Hours:

Monday – Friday
,

6:00am - 4:00pm
(no weekend work required)

Key responsibilities:

Deliver new business sales and existing account development

Forge strong working relationships with all key accounts and manage their expectations around product availability and delivery schedules

Engage with the external sales, warehouse, and credit control teams

Efficiently deal with telephone and email enquiries and orders

Ensure all quotations are followed up when necessary

Handle any customer issues and queries

The preferred candidate would display the following:

Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships

A proactive approach to sales

Team player attitude

Be a confident and self-driven individual

Ability to multi-task

Strong customer service

Previous experience in a Sales-focused role

IT literacy

Ability to communicate with a range of customers and colleagues, whilst building and maintaining strong relationships

Knowledge of construction products would be preferable, but not essential.
