Position: Paint Sprayer
Location: Kettering
Proactive are currently working with a client who are a market leader in their field based in Kettering.
The client are currently in need of a Paint Sprayer. The need is due to rapid company growth, the successful candidate will be joining a thriving business and be helping maintain the site's function through this exciting influx of work.
You will be responsible for:
You will need to ensure the surface of the product is ready for paint and feedback any concerns to our preparation department.
Ensure surfaces are prepared pre-paint for surface adherence, this may include taping areas prior to paint
Confident in applying wet on wet and producing parts to the highest standard meeting all conformity requirements.
Mix and match paint accordingly to specifications, ensuring no surfacing issues
Apply paint to surfaces utilising your expertise on the spray guns
Be proficient in using low-bake ovens and responsible for their upkeep and cleanliness
Take responsibility for assessing the quality of products produced within your area through management of and compliance with quality systems. Improve and maintain high levels of quality on all output from production to the end customer
Identify issues with under or over prepped parts
Actively applied COB with the use of anti-static equipment to minimum inclusions in thermos and thermosetting substrate.
