A long-standing company specialising in providing advanced engineering solutions to multiple sectors such as aerospace, automotive and energy is seeking a Project Manager to manage, execute and deliver their innovative and technical projects. The Project Manager will have relevant qualifications and experience in engineering with previous experience in delivering M&E design manufacture and installation projects. In addition, the Project Manager will have good communication, organisation, IT, people management, and numerical skills. Must have a UK driving licence, be able to travel overseas and work out of hours in order to meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
Look after all aspects of project delivery from initial set up to close out, and lessons learnt
Coordinate with other departments to ensure delivery requirements are achieved
Ensure projects department aligns with the strategic aims of the business
Work with Business Development to support on tenders and quotes as necessary
Ensure detailed communications are under to support the project, including action trackers, meeting minutes and documentation control
Oversee project performance such as adherence to budget, and delivery and quality requirements are exceeded
Understand and set out the project deliverables for internal and external stakeholders
Understand and set up the project budget, feeding into ERP system, invoice control and cash flow reporting, while maintaining accurate project reports and robust margin control
Ensure milestones/invoices are submitted timely with appropriate documentation
Control and mitigate project risks via risk registers, updated throughout the life of the project
Ensure continuous improvement of project processes and business deliverables
Mentor and delegate as necessary with the support of the management team within the business
Promote and represent the Company when required
Be aware of and adhere to Company policies and procedures, including but not limited to HSEQ policies
Any other duties that may be required from time to time
Knowledge, skills and qualifications:
Essential:
HNC qualified or equivalent
Experience of delivering M&E design, manufacture and install projects; demonstrable experience of working to cost, timescale and quality constraints.
Have previous project management and relevant engineering discipline backgrounds
Have very good communication, organisation, IT, technical, numerical, and people management skills
Have an analytical approach and able to work under pressure to meet customer deadlines
Is professional and committed to self-development
UK driving licence
Be happy to travel overseas and able to work out of hours in order to meet customer demands/deadlines
Desirables:
HND or higher qualified
Attained formal Project Management qualification such as PRINCE2
Gas Turbine knowledge
Fabrication / manufacturing project management
Industry experience
Clear understanding of the capabilities of project planning software
Salary: £50,000 to £55,000 DOE
Benefits: £5040 car allowance, pension, hybrid role
