Position: Valuer

Role Overview: As a Valuer, you’ll play a pivotal role in assessing property values, guiding investment decisions, and maximising profits for your clients. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will be crucial in providing accurate valuations.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Valuer or Lister at an estate agency, your role involves a variety of responsibilities related to property valuation, client interaction, and marketing.

Duties will include;

Market Research and Analysis:

* Stay informed about local property market trends, pricing, and demand.

* Analyse comparable property sales data to determine accurate valuations.

Client Interaction:

* Build strong relationships with potential sellers

* Conduct property appraisals and valuations based on client needs.

* Explain the valuation process and answer client queries.

Property Appraisals:

* Visit properties to assess their condition, features, and marketability.

* Take accurate measurements and photographs for marketing purposes.

* Evaluate any unique selling points (USPs) of the property.

Listing and Marketing:

* Create compelling property descriptions and marketing materials.

* Ensure property listings are accurate, up-to-date, and visually appealing.

* Collaborate with the marketing team to promote properties effectively.

Negotiation and Conversion:

* Convert valuation opportunities into property instructions (listings).

* Negotiate terms with clients, including fees, marketing strategies, and contract details.

* Secure exclusive agreements with property owners.

Networking and Prospecting:

* Attend networking events, property shows, and industry gatherings.

* Identify potential leads and expand your client base.

* Collaborate with other agents and professionals in the field.

* Legal Compliance and Documentation:

* Ensure all property details and contracts comply with legal requirements.

* Handle paperwork related to property listings, offers, and agreements.

* Maintain accurate records of client interactions.

Feedback and Market Insights:

* Gather feedback from property viewings and share it with clients.

* Provide insights on pricing adjustments based on market response.

* Adapt strategies as needed to achieve successful sales or lettings.
