SALARY: Up to £27,000 per annum
HOURS: Monday to Friday 35 hours per week
JR Personnel are an employment agency acting on behalf of a client who is looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis.

The Opportunity:
Due to continued growth and drive for process improvement, this role is now available, offering support to the Financial Operations team from the company’s Leicestershire-based office, assisting with all day-to-day activities and providing support on a wider basis when required, including sickness and holiday cover.

Role profile:
* Aged debt credit control duties
* Create and execute external payments
* Cash posting
* Direct Debit default administration
* Outbound payments for London and Leicester offices
* Monitor and respond to queries in the shared inbox
* Payment processing duties
* Ongoing analysis and investigation of aged debt
* Various other duties as and when required
Person profile:
* Accounting technical knowledge
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Ideally experience working within a financial services environment
* Experience of cash-allocation and minimising unallocated cash
* Confident, can-do attitude
* Excellent Excel skills
* Friendly, team player who can hit the ground running.
