Trainee HR Advisor | Leicester based- Onsite | Permanent | Up to 28k
We are representing a dynamic and rapidly expanding independent merchant with a rich history dating back to 1897. With 20 locations nationwide, our client has built a reputation for delivering exceptional service and value to its customers. As a successful, family-owned business, they continue to thrive despite current economic conditions, experiencing significant growth. We are looking for a HR generalist to join them as a Trainee HR Advisor.
Your responsibilities will be:
-Assisting with various HR administrative tasks, including onboarding, offboarding, HR systems, training administration, and recruitment support.
-Handling 1st line HR queries from employees and stakeholders.
-Supporting the implementation of HR best practices, policies, compliance with employment law, and HR processes.
-Assisting the Senior HR Manager with managing employee relations cases, including attending meetings and note-taking for grievances, disciplinaries, and performance management.
-Facilitating the joiner and leaver processes, conducting inductions, and coordinating exit interviews.
-Supporting training activities, including administration, HR process training, appraisals, and training plans.
-Managing and updating the HR system, including record maintenance, producing monthly HR reports, and conducting system audits.
-Engaging in ad-hoc HR projects and providing support to the Senior HR Manager with all aspects of HR.
