HGV2 Tipper driver

Drivetek Recruitment are currently recruiting for experienced HGV 2 Tipper Drivers for a new contract in Essex.

If you have experience in this type of work and can demonstrate that you have the required skills to be part of the team, we would like to hear from you.

You must have previous tipper experience and in return you can expect ongoing work with this client, that could lead to a permanent position should you be the right fit.

You must have held your licence for a minimum of 2 years and be able to support your work record over that last 2 years to meet the criteria required by the client. Don't worry if you are not an exact fit as we have other opportunities available.

You must have a full UK driving licence with Cat C (HGV 2) or higher, with no more than 6 penalty points. Unfortunately no endorsements for DR, DD or IN10 will be accepted due to insurance restrictions.

You must have excellent communication skills with and good knowledge of the local areas around Essex and Suffolk and that is where the majority of the work will be.

You will also need a good work ethic and be reliable.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled HGV 2 Truck Driver to join the Drivetek team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations in a timely and safe manner.

Responsibilities:- Safely operate a commercial vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations- Transport goods and materials from one location to another- Perform vehicle inspections before and after each trip- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and customer interactions- Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and in good working condition- Assist with loading and unloading goods as required- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and colleagues

Qualifications:- Hold a valid Commercial Driving Licence (C or C+E)- Experience of Tipper controls a must - Possess mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle maintenance- Excellent driving record with no traffic violations- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision- Physically fit to handle the demands of the job
