A career change decision means we have an excellent career progressing opportunity, as a management accountant to play an integral part in the production of our monthly management accounts and meeting national and international group reporting requirements.
THE ROLE
You will be responsible for the preparation and review of the monthly management accounts for our UK manufacturing facilities and regional business units. Assisting in preparation of business units’ budgets and forecasts, and year end group audit deliverables.
This is an integral role within our finance team, reporting directly to our Group Financial Controller and working closely with our on-site and group management teams, international group finance colleagues and external auditors in meeting strict reporting deadlines.
You will be heavily involved in the ongoing review of our costing controls as well as interrogating variances across our revenue, cost of sales, stock and overhead base. As the Management Accountant you will be required to provide accounting support across all aspects of the Finance team.
THE PERSON
We are looking to recruit an ambitious part qualified accountant who is confident, astute, and eager to develop their career and be the ‘Go To’ person for all our day-to-day on-site accounting and finance technical issues.

QUALIFICATIONS
* AAT or equivalent
* CIMA or working towards
* Microsoft Office suite in particular excellent Excel skills
