The Client
Our client is at the fore front of the subcontract precision engineering sector. Due to growth, they now require a CMM Inspector.
The Role:
* Use inspection equipment such as verniers, micrometers, PI tapes and CMM or Faro.
* Program CMM and report relevant data.
* Inspection of goods in, goods out, subcontract work and all purchased parts.
* Magnetic Particle Inspection.
* In process and finished goods inspection.
* Process auditing.
* Calibration of measuring equipment.
* Signing first and last inspection reports.
* Reporting of non-conforming parts.
* Working 4-day week, 37 hours Monday-Thursday.
The Person:
* Previous inspection experience essential.
* Must be able to program CMM machine.
* Use of measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers, thickness and echo meters.
* Proven ability to work accurately and with attention to detail.
* Self-motivated.
* Good communication skills.
* Good housekeeping.
