Due to an extremely busy workload, we have an urgent requirement for Coater Machine Operator.
Main Duties
* Operating a Silicone Coater machine
* Packing products, which includes wrapping, weighing and palletising goods.
* Ensuring data is accurately recorded using in-house computer system
* Following work instructions and customer specifications
* Working to a priority list and completing work to customer deadlines
* Meeting/exceeding performance standards with regards to safety/waste and quality
* Maintaining a clean and tidy workspace in line with health and safety guidelines
* Reporting any faults or improvements to your supervisor
* Getting involved with initiatives and projects
What are we looking for?
* Machine operator experience is essential
* The ability to following work instructions and standard operating procedures
* A background in the Printing industry is desired and advantageous
* Familiar with manual handling techniques
* Flexible in relation to the rotating shift patterns on days and nights
* Ability to work unsupervised
* IT/Computer literate
* Experience working in a busy production/factory environment is desired
Salary: £12 per hour
This will increase to £13-14 once fully trained and competent in the job and on the machines
Hours: 7am till 7pm and 7pm till 7am.
Days: Monday to Thursday
Rotating Day and Night shift
On the Night Shift you will get a shift allowance
Overtime is available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Training: We will structure the training on a 2-week rotation on days and nights.
This is a Temp to Perm position whereby you initially work through the agency and then progress to a permanent position.
Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm
Pay: £11.50-£13.00 per hour
