TeacherActive is delighted to be working with a private day nursery with their search for a qualified nursery practitioner. This is a wonderful opportunity to work within a bustling nursery in the Ellesmere Port area, who care for over 80 children daily. The nursery splits both indoor and outdoor sections to be age-appropriate, and provides a safe and secure environment for children to take risks under a watchful eye. Activities are created based on interest led learning, and adhere to the EYFS guidelines to ensure children are meeting developmental milestones, and identifying where additional support may be required.  

The nursery is looking for a level 2 or higher childcare qualification, and an in depth knowledge of the EYFS. Bookings will start on a weekly basis to accommodate the needs of the nursery, with the opportunity to secure longer term bookings and permanent roles for the correct candidate. You will report directly to the management team, and may be required to work across all rooms in the nursery, from the baby room, through toddlers, and into the pre-school room. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who would like to expand their knowledge of the early years in a hands-on environment. 

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

-          Level 2 or higher childcare qualification

-          Knowledge of the EYFS

-          Can do approach with adaptability skills
