The ideal candidate has a strong chemistry or materials science background with experience in empirical colloid and surface measurements, and interpretation to generate insights into behaviours of surfactants and polymers in solution and at relevant surfaces (e.g. domestic hard surface substrates and textiles).

Experience Required:

A postgraduate degree in a colloid or surface science-related area. Candidates with a first degree in a relevant physical sciences discipline with at least two year's experience in an appropriate field may also be considered.
A background in colloid science and/or experience of experimental techniques for measuring colloidal behaviour, polymer-surfactant interactions and surface property measurements is essential. The role requires leading edge expertise in the discipline of colloid and interface science to design and conduct insight delivering experiments, interpret data and communicate results to a multi-disciplinary team.

The ideal candidate demonstrates outstanding experimental technique and attention to detail for the creation of robust data sets as well as a strong commitment to safe practise in the laboratory as a job fundamental.
