We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As the Business Development Manager (Apprenticeships), you will be responsible for driving strategic growth and expanding our presence in the market. This is a remote-based role, offering flexibility and the opportunity to make a significant impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a team of three business development executives and an administrator, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure team success.

Develop and implement a strategic growth plan to drive business expansion and meet revenue targets.

Train, motivate, develop, and inspire the team to achieve individual and collective goals.

Attend events nationally as required to network, build relationships, and promote our apprenticeship solutions.

Focus on generating new levy accounts and establishing strong partnerships with businesses.

Demonstrate a proven track record of achievement in a similar role within work-based learning or apprenticeship programs.

Create brand awareness and enhance our market presence through targeted marketing initiatives.

Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop and execute strategies to drive new business.

Work closely with the Senior Management Team (SMT) to identify opportunities and threats, and provide regular reports on progress.
Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role within the work-based learning or apprenticeship sector.

Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.

Strong strategic planning and implementation abilities.

Proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a remote-based role and collaborate with team members virtually.

Willingness to travel nationally for events and meetings as required.
