Location: South Manchester

Salary: £160-£220 per day

Are you an ambitious and knowledgeable ICT Teacher looking for a fantastic opportunity to ignite the minds of students aged 11 to 16?

TeacherActive are seeking a qualified Teacher (QTS / QTLS) with experience of teaching ICT at KS3 and 4, for a secondary school based in South Manchester.

You will be joining an innovative and forward thinking school where exam results have improved year on year.

This is a part-time role, to start as soon as possible. 

The ideal candidate will have sound knowledge of teaching methods and lesson design, the ability to create optimal learning environments, and motivation to bring out the best in pupils. You must be able to demonstrate strong classroom management, effective communication and engagement skills, and a passion for subject enhancement and continual learning. The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team are also important.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Hold a relevant UK teaching qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS)
Experience teaching ICT at Key Stage 3/KS3 and Key Stage 4/KS4
Right to work in the UK.
Hold an enhanced child workforce DBS check on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one
