Payroll Manager- Part time

I am working alongside a large manufacturing business based in the South Manchester area who are looking to replace a Payroll Manager due to retirement on a part-time basis. The role is part of a busy payroll department of 2 and works closely with other departments such as Finance and HR.

Key Duties/Tasks:

Technical skills: relevant payroll systems preferred & excel skills also
5 hours a week role
Support the busy payroll process
fast paced role role
Processing the full end to end payroll process
Automated payroll process with lots of manual checks
Provide comprehensive advice to employees in relation to payroll queries.
Working to deadlines
Experience of T & A system very useful

Salary up to £40,000 FTE

Normal working hours are 36.5 hours per week but as this role is part time the salary is on a pro-rata basis.

Hours are 9:00am to 5.00pm with flexitime option and 1-hour unpaid break.
