We have a great opportunity for a HR Advisor to work alongside the HR Manager for Volker Stevin out of the Preston office.
As the HR advisor you will be involved in the following:

Provide employment law advice and guidance for all of VolkerStevin's operations.
Support line managers in the proactive management of all casework issues including formal and informal disciplinary and grievance cases, long-term and short-term sickness absence management and any wellbeing concerns raised by employees or their managers.
Communicate with Occupational Health, to request reviews of employees returning from long-term sickness.
Provide advice, support, and guidance to managers around the probationary period of their direct reports.
Support managers through performance issues and reviews of their direct reports/employees.
Review HR data and communicate with the HR Manager/Head of HR with any discrepancies, patterns or concerns to develop action plans
Provide support to HR service centre with information they may require in order to support the HR in business team.
Advise employees regarding company policies.
Advise employees on other departments in the business that can support them (eg: fleet, expenses, payroll etc.)
Guide employees to the location of benefits information - pension etc.

About you

GSCE Maths & English
CIPD qualified (desirable)
