Paying up to £45,000 + Benefits - This successful and expanding manufacturing group with a head office based in South Manchester are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their busy HR team, for a 6-month period, recruiting a number of experienced Engineers in the Fluid Power industry. With multiple sites across the UK and Ireland, as well as in Europe as Talent Acquisition Specialist you will be expected to travel to other sites as and when required.
This is a fantastic job opportunity for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist with a background in Engineering and the Fluid Power Industry.
This is a 6-month FTC, office-based Talent Acquisition Specialist job opportunity, working Monday to Friday 9:00am-5:00pm (37.5 hrs p/w), however there can be some flexibility with the start and finish times.
THE JOB
Reporting to the Head of HR, as Talent Acquisition Specialist you will be required to build a diverse and qualified talent pipeline, ensuring that the right people are in place to drive the business forward, with a key focus on Engineering talent acquisition.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Being accountable for creating a key function of recruitment and attraction for both internal and external candidates.
* Proactively finding and engaging a high-quality, and diverse selection of candidates directly from various channels, including social media, networking events, job boards, and industry-specific platforms.
* Screening, shortlisting, and endorsing candidates for open and projected job positions, ensuring a thorough understanding of each role's requirements
* Expanding your current network of candidates to prepare a diverse talent pipeline for immediate and future hiring needs.
* Conducting job briefings as needed for new positions and working closely with hiring managers to understand specific job requirements and expectations.
* Supporting the development and implementation of an in-house recruitment solution using the HR system, and intranet, to streamline the hiring process.
* Building and maintaining a robust and diverse talent pipeline for immediate and future hiring needs, focusing on key roles within manufacturing and engineering.
* Ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process by maintaining clear communication and providing timely updates.
* Staying up to date with industry trends, salary benchmarks, and competitive intelligence to provide insights and recommendations to hiring managers.
THE PERSON
The ideal Talent Acquisition Specialist will have extensive and proven experience in Engineering talent acquisition or recruitment, typically 5+ years. As well as:
* A proficiency in conducting different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, etc.)
* A strong ability to source and engage candidates using various direct sourcing methods.
* An understanding of the Fluid Power industry
* Experience of developing and maintaining a diverse talent pipeline.
* Experience with HR systems and in-house recruitment solutions.
